No baby yet.

Sorry for the delay. I'm trying.
Mostly I am just frustrated. I spent most of Friday night having contractions. They were strong and 45 minutes apart. I thought I was gearing up for a long labor, but after eight hours, they just stopped.
Saturday my mother-in-law and Matt's Aunts threw me a sweet shower. I had a great time, it was very chill. I was uncomfortable all day long, but still no baby.
This morning I had Brunch with Mom, Annie, Toni, Alan, Shawna and V at MoKaBe's. Matt and I are just hanging out at home, I'm eating pineapple and thinking about getting some Mexican food for dinner.
I am so sick of being pregnant. Sorry if I sound like a whiner.
I finished that one sock I was knitting. Instead of starting to knit its mate, I started a different sock. I know that's not cool, but I was bored. Don't report me to the knitting goddesses, please.

No baby yet?! Bless your heart. The last two or three weeks are the hardest. Hope Sprout comes soon!

It could be worse. Your kid could be sucker-punching your water and be born with breathing troubles. That kid was my younger brother, and to this day, he still has asthma.

Maybe you should sit in on a step class at the Y in an attempt to induce labor?

Aww! I'm sorry you're uncomfortable and frustrated - but I think you're totally justified in making as many solo socks as you want.

Go ahead and whine. This phase is a real drag. The good news is it will be over soon.

I'm forever starting one sock without finishing the mate, and I don't have anywhere near your justification. Hang in there :)

Whining is perfectly in order at this stage, especially after enduring 8 hours of contractions on top of all the other discomforts of the last days of pregnancy. Starting a different sock is also perfectly in order.

Best of luck for a smooth labor & holding a healthy sprout really soon!
