Whoa! What happened to February?
And most of March for that matter?
Yeah, that was quick. Huh.
I'm running around like a headless chicken these days, chasing my almost-two-year-old. The Sprout really is a full time job, which means I have two full time jobs now.
I've been working a lot at the restaurant, mostly off the floor, which has been a nice change. We've installed a point of sale system and I've been helping with the programming of it. That means I spend a lot of time in the office during the day, in addition to my regularly scheduled wait shifts at night. This seems like a ton of time away from home, but since Sprout is bigger now, and since Matt isn't working as much, it really isn't too difficult to swing. It just means I have very little time for anything else.
In knitting news, I finally finished Zach's Knucks. They were supposed to be a Christmas gift, but I just finished them last week. Pitiful, I know. In order to prevent something of this sort happening again this year, I have decided to start my Christmas knitting for December '09 on April 1st. This is not an April Fool's Day joke. I am completely serious.
In house news, we are now officially one house. Matt knocked a vaguely door-shaped hole in the back of the kitchen wall, and VOILA! we now have access to the upper levels of our house! Yay! We plan to be sleeping on the second floor by April 4th.
Okay, I had a ton of stuff I wanted to blog about, but Toni just pulled up in front of my house and gave me a very ripe black truffle and I really must go make some truffle butter before the thing turns.
